Description
It is very danceable, the well-known folk song from Spain. No wonder! Because the "Vito", which is sung about in the song and causes red cheeks, is a popular Andalusian dance in which women dressed in jackets and sombrero bring bullfighting to the dance floor.
Raphael B. Meyer's arrangement for 7-part recorder orchestra (S/S/A/T/T/B/Gb) is just as fiery: tutti and solo passages alternate in this hot-blooded arrangement in 3/8 time and exude a great deal of Spanish color. The edition is accompanied by downloadable recordings of each individual voice. This makes practicing twice as much fun. The piece can also be played along with a singing part, which can be found in the download area.
