Description

Based on traditional Irish melodies from the 17th to 20th century, Raphael B. Meyer arranged the movements contained in this edition for trio formation. The pieces are particularly effective in a recorder or string ensemble but can also be played in a mixed trio with any instrumentation. The melody part has the original lyrics and can therefore also be played vocally.

The pieces can also be played in a duo with a melody instrument (or singing) and piano accompaniment. For transposing instruments (e.g. clarinet, trumpet, horn, saxophone) there are excerpts of the first part in Bb, Eb and F in the Download area of ​​this issue.
