  • Direction: Gisela Eggers-Block, Jochen Thesmann, Manfred Harras
    April 26-28, 2024
  • Competition of voices or dynamic interaction? A question that we want to explore when we work together on the 5- to 6-part English gamba literature of the 16th and 17th centuries.

Target group: Advanced players should play different types of viols and be able to read all the necessary keys.

  • Summer sounds with recorders
  • Direction: Manfred Haras
    June 30 - July 7, 2024
  • The course program includes compositions from the 16th to the 22nd century in various instrumentations up to multi-choral works.

The work in the plenary session takes place on the mornings of the first three days of the course and on the last two days of the course.

The afternoons of the first three days of the course are dedicated to intensive work in small consorts (with simple vocal line-up).

Target group: The course is aimed at experienced players who have good ensemble experience. Good sight reading and mastery of the entire recorder quartet are expected from the participants. Great and sub-bass recorders are required to play the 8-foot register.

  • Bergflöten
  • Direction: Raphael B. Meyer
    July 21-27, 2024
  • The course takes place in Grächen/VS and offers a nice mixture of making music together and hiking activities. Daily recorder playing alternates with excursions. The course concludes – weather permitting – with an all-day hike, during which we play the pieces we have worked out in different places in the great outdoors.

Registrations by February 2024 benefit from a discount on the course costs.
